My friend ordered the Eggs Cathedral, a grilled English muffin with a crab cake on top, scrambled eggs and homemade seafood sauce. The sauce was made of blackened grouper and crawfish. We swapped sides and he had my waffle sticks. I had the Cajun Seafood Omelette. It was stuffed with blackened shrimp and smothered in the seafood sauce.
My wife and I went here for breakfast one morning and frankly, I was really surprised at how good it was. When you think of a tea place, one doesn't normally think the food will also be great. This isn't a trendy place with a fancy menu, it's a quality location with great food that's tastes excellent and you don't have to be worried about ordering something you've never heard of and hoping it's good.
Let's be honest, it's hard to mess up breakfast, but so many places try their best to do just that. Howver, spot of tea does it right and I'd gladly.come back next time I'm in Mobile.
I had the eggs cathedral. Really big serving and it tasted great. My server was very attentive and kind. Will definitely be coming back.
Good breakfast. My wife had a piping hot Western Omelet which she loved. I had Eggs Benedict with a side of Grits. My Grits were steaming hot, but my Eggs Benedict was cold... which was unfortunate considering they had a generous portion of thin sliced ham.
...meal was served on paper plates with plastic utensils.
Friendly and authentic southern restaurant.
