We get take out from here often. So much so when we call our order in, the staff know who we are and they’re always very friendly and personable when we go in to pick it up. The spring rolls are very good, the shrimp rolls are even better!! We have tried several of their sushi rolls but our favorite two are the Sexy Mama Roll & The Who Dat Roll. OMG so yummy!! Truly one of the best places in Mobile we have had for sushi. The order is usually always ready pretty quickly and the restaurant is clean every time we go in. We have even used Dapper Delivery for our favorites here and still it has been very good.
Clean, quiet & the staff were friendly! We got our food quickly. The server recommend the hurricane roll & it was divine!! My fiance got the orange chicken & rice & it was also delicious!!
Friendly staff but unfortunately that’s about all I can say about this Sushi 9.
The tables are sticky and the sushi is overpriced for imitation crab.
The rolls seem great because they are presented well and heavily topped but underneath is pretty subpar ingredients overall.
What a little jewel of a spot - I accidentally stumbled across this place and when we walked through the door it was like we went to another dimension.
The ambiance - this is the most genuinely friendly place I’ve ever experienced and I’m not just talking about the staff. The customers all seemed to know each other and even engaged us in conversation like we were part of the regular crowd that came daily at this spot.
The food - wow I wasn’t expecting this in Mobile - no offense but as a worldly traveled person I’ve had sushi all over the country including Hawaii & Seattle, and this came as close to it as it could in the area, we really enjoyed it so much I forgot to take pictures! Pretty much everything has cream cheese, but don’t let this turn you off, this is NOT low quality sushi, I bet they add the cream cheese as a way to introduce new taste buds from the area to a new food, we asked for no cream cheese and they easily accommodated us and it was very fresh and very tasty!
If you’re craving sushi and this place is driving distance, go the extra mile and stop in, I’ve tried all the competitors and Sushi 9 is the only place I gave 5 stars!
Food AND service is spectacular
