This restaurant is an absolute hidden gem for soulful Venezuelan food. Their arepas are delicious and loaded while their sandwiches are colossal (seriously, it’s made for 2 people)! They also have other Venezuelan staples such as pepitos, patacones and platter dishes as well!
Wanting to try something different for lunch, decided to stop in. I had a peach tea and Albondigas. The Albondigas was a lunch special for $10.99. The peach tea was very “peachy” and good. It leaned more towards a peach juice drink which was fine as it was very good. The entree was good also. The meatballs did seem as they may have been microwaved as the center was warmer than the outside. The rice, coleslaw and fried plantains were good and went together well. Overall it was a good lunch for a good price. Minus 1 point only for the unevenness of the temperature of the meatballs. Otherwise A++
The sandwich hit the spot, and the coffee was good. I did just eat half the sandwich at the restaurant, but the other half was great for leftovers the next day.
Great food. Very delicious and fresh. A lot of unique dishes and great for when you want something different. Prices are about average; you get a comparable serving of food. Service was friendly.
I eat here at least once a week and I love it. Most of the waitstaff are bilingual also. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for the amount you get. Give them a try, you will love it.
