Wintzell's Oyster House

My son and his family was down from Atlanta and after my sisters funnel we all wanted fish and oysters. My wife and i have seen your sign so we all went to Wintzell's Oyster House. This is our first time there,and my wife and i enjoyed it.The service was a 10 and everyone was so kind, they made my family feel welcome.The place was very very clean.Our service was so great she made us all feel welcome.
So we left her a $35.00 tip.Good service needs to be rewarded. And we will be back.Thank you for the great people you have working in your restaurant

Just So So, nothing great.

Went on a Saturday night and it was very busy. the service was good. Our server was attentive without being bothersome. We were very disappointed in our food. I had Snapper and it was stringy and tough. My wife had shrimp which was OK, but was nothing great. I expected Wintzell's to have the great food we were used to having, but this trip was a let down. We may give it another try, but doubtful.

We got the best server I've ever had. Ask to sit in Kendall's section. Our food was delicious but the dragon drink needed rum. We will be going back. 👍

I have eaten before at the one downtown in Mobile and what a great experience. This restaurant was a little disappointing, maybe just a rough night? I had the half and half, my catfish was great but my shrimp was so overcooked and rubbery I couldn't eat it. We will give it another chance in the future. I'm really hoping it will live up to the Wintzell's name.

I've eaten a lot of gumbo in the Mobile area and this is the best I have found. Loaded with seafood and great flavor. Also really love their blackened shrimp salad. The shrimp portion is generous, the shrimp are perfectly seasoned, and the homemade ranch dressing perfectly compliments the tasty shrimp.
