Time To Eat Café

My husband and I stopped in the cafe to grab a bite to eat. We both ordered the hamburger steak, and a salad, I got fried okra while my husband got mashed potatoes as our other side dish. After a long 30+ minute wait, our food was delivered along with the bill. The food was nothing to write home about, but was ok. If your in a hurry, this place is NOT for you. Other things to consider if you visit; Tea is super sweet as well as the corn bread. We waited and waited and waited some more for the server/waitress to ask if we needed anything else. I needed water and my husband wanted some unsweetened tea to mix with his SWEET tea. She never came back, so my husband went and found a go-box for my leftover steak. The review is based on time and service rendered.

Bummer was it took 20 plus minutes to get our food after ordering. After we ordered many customers came in so obviously very popular.. .most important the food was excellent.. it is obvious a popular place with the locals so if in a hurry sadly I would say avoid this place

I love the chicken salad sandwich but you can't go wrong with anything you order. If that comfort food, home made taste is what you're looking for Time To Eat Cafe is where it's at. Located in the corner of a shopping center mere miles from EXT 13 off I-10 is some of the best home style cooking you'll find in Mobile. Take time to check out Time To Eat Cafe!

The food was hot and fresh and the steak was amazing and their paradise pie is yummy
