Ate here recently on a Sunday morning. It’s a very nice relaxed and bright atmosphere. The menu has nice options. The food was nice with a few surprises such as the sweet potato hash not being cooked all the way and the poached eggs for the Benedict being over cooked and not actually poached. The white cheddar grits were the best thing we had.
The service was great at first but once we got our food we didn’t see anyone again for quite some time. I could never get a second cup of coffee. Overall it’s nice and I’d go one more time. But there is room for improvement.
As this place opened just a few weeks ago, it’s very busy! We went at 11:45 am on a Wednesday and were seated outside because the inside was full. We waited ten minutes for our drinks but we were able to look over the menu and order our food along with our drinks. I wanted a latte but they were out of iced coffee, and espresso. In 40 minutes our food was out. I had gotten the Shakshuka which is on the menu with the ingredients: spicy tomato sauce, egg, local honey, feta, parsley and a French baguette. Though, it was very delicious the tomato sauce was most of the dish. My fiancé got the three egg breakfast which was okay and was enough food for him. This is a nice place to get brunch with a friend but the wait time is pretty long. Our waiter was very friendly and apologetic about the wait time.
Loved the bacon egg & cheese on a huge biscuit as well as the hot honey fried chicken biscuit. Was so big I could have ordered just one or the other. My friend had avocado toast - looked yummy. We had the pineapple mimosa and regular mimosa. Great experience and look forward to going back this Monday with more friends!
I understand the wait being long to be seated but after being seated we had to wait 45 mins for our drinks. My sister had the steak and eggs which was $26 and it wasn’t worth that much honestly, the portion was small. The food and coffee was good but the wait time not so much. Although, The atmosphere was nice and well put together.
Such a fantastic atmosphere, food and service! I absolutely loved it. Had a party of 8, & tried so many different things- from steak and eggs to shrimp grits and avocado toast. The food was perfect, steaks cooked to proper temp, servers were new and working hard, bar menu is so so great! We had hot drinks, and signature cocktails, and everything was yummy and unique. Can’t wait to come back with friends!!
