Fat Man's Smokehouse BBQ

The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special. It was not seasoned but I'm thinking that's so you can add one of the many options of sauces. My mac and cheese was cold.

Would love to see them open up in another location that would be open more hours. I drive all the way from Pike Road and pass at least a half a dozen BBQ restaurants to get Fatman's because it's worth the drive. I would visit more often if they were open longer hours.

Stopped by Fatman’s on the way down to the coast for work. We each got the 3 rib meal and an extra 6 piece side of wings. Great smoke flavor on the meat. The wings could have been a little crispier but were delicious. Ribs were fantastic. Large selection of sauces to try. The turnip greens were possibly the best greens I have ever eaten. They said that the finish them on the smoker. Delicious! Super friendly folks behind the counter too. We would come back in a heartbeat. Try it and enjoy.

I went there 5 times over 2 weeks while on orders. This place was amazing 4/5 times. I got the pulled pork plate each time with baked beans and mac. I loved it. However, the last time I went the food was cold and the baked beans tasted off. I was really disappointed. However, I had way more positive experiences there than the one bad time so I will go back.

Brought a group of eight here for lunch. Plenty of parking even though it was busy. Lots of pulled pork BBQ, ribs, wings and chicken selections on the menu (to include combination plates.) I enjoyed a BBQ pulled pork sandwich with a side of mac n' cheese. The time from order to order-up is fast.
Good smoked pork, ribs, and chicken in a very relaxed, down home atmosphere.
