Hawaiian BBQ & Ramen

Was it different? Yes. Was it bad? No. The quantity of food for the price was good. The taste was good as well. Very light to me, meaning it’s not a meal that will make you feel bad after.

Excellent and delicious. Comfort food at its best. This place is easily on par with and arguably better than the famous L&L Hawaiian BBQ. The chicken and beef are tender and flavorful. Chicken katsu is perfectly crispy. Sides of cabbage, broccoli, and macaroni salad were tasty and not overcooked. Rice did not disappoint. I hope they develop a punchcard program because I’ll be returning as often as my waistline will allow me.

The staff was very friendly and patient! They have really cool live art/projections on the walls and the restaurant is very clean and well kept!

Some hits and some growing pains, there is certainly room in Montgomery for a spot like this. With a unique menu with some delicious options and standard fair for the less adventurous there is something for most people. Highpoints included the appetizers, the bbq options and the dessert sushi. Hiccups included some minor order fulfillment mistakes and a confusing ordering setup but those will be addressed as they gain footing. My personal favorite entree was the bbq chicken and BBQ beef. I really liked the fried shumai and crab Rangoon appetizers and as mentioned the Hawaiian Fruits dessert was worth every penny. I will be back to see them again

Lots of parking and the atmosphere are kind of dim in a huge building. We wanted to try the place out, and it didn't disappoint. Food came pretty fast for us and the server was wonderful.

I had the seafood plate, and we gave it a 10/10 rating. Shrimp and fish were wonderful, juicy, and flavored well for fried fast food.

We also got the BBQ mix, and we gave it a 7.5/10. The kalbi was good, and the beef was good. It's a common BBQ plate for us.

This definitely brings back memories for us as we miss this living in Alabama. I would give this place a try for sure.
