Island Delight at Dexter

Food is delicious. Service is awesome. We had the Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Island slaw, and fried plantains. Everything was amazing. Definitely a must try place for a food adventure.

I forgot my insulin and the staff did everything they could, even wanting to drive me home. Their loving kindness was overwhelming! When I finally got it together to eat, that tender loving care translated to the food. It was absolutely delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I will be returning, also I will bring back takeout to share. Their food is the perfect way to express your love for another!

Thia was a great restaurant. And a suprisingly awesome dish vegan curry goat!!! We really enjoyed this place. My friend had oxtails with rice and peas w/ peach sweet tea.

Visited while on a road trip to New Orleans. Wonderfully surprised by the quality of the food here. Cool digs inside with a great island vibe. Friendly servers. Would have rated a 5 star if the service was just a bit quicker and if they had one of the dishes we ordered. It took 15 min for the server to tell us they were out of the peppered beef.

Very excellent food very tasty food. I order jerk chicken. And stewed lamb with red bean rice all dish is excellent. And main thing is they are served tasty oxtail gravy. Excellent service. Dining looking lightning with Jamaican songs. Strong recommendation to come all peoples.
