JJ Seafood & Wings

Had a great lunch with some friends. They definitely give you a lot for your money. We dined in so the fries didn't come with salt. We had to add our own. The flounder and the lemon pepper wings were good.

The ONLY reason I am rewarding 4 stars is because the fried shrimp taste and have the texture of Chinese Buffet shrimp. The wings are bit more than average but nothing major to brag about, but I'd order them again. The catfish on the other hand is amazing and the french fries are the best. However, I am extremely partial to seasoned crinkle fries so don't take my word for it. The staff didn't seem too friendly upon arrival but they did eventually warm-up, we assume it's because they are young and the business was still fairly new. WTBS, I wouldn't turn anyone away from this establishment, I'd more so encourage them to give it a try and make their decision from there. Also, this is the FIRST establishment in Montgomery, AL that has syrup-based Lemonade that isn't extremely sweet, which makes your throat scratchy, or overly tart which makes for a horrible "drink" experience. Give JJ Seafood and Wings a try, we did and we will be return.......... at least for the catfish and fries :).

Quick service, courteous staff, and reasonably priced.

The food was excellent and you got your money worth.
