La Costa Mexican Restaurant

Great service and food! The prices are amazing! It’s clean and pleasant. The quest is yummy!

The staff was very friendly, courteous and had a great sense of humour. The food came out quickly and was hot off the grill. We ordered a steak fajita burrito smothered with wueso and a chicken taco salad with a side of guacamole. Both were prepared well and had some seasoning but not much salt. Many times the food at other Mexican restaurants have too much salt in it. This was good because we could season it more if we wanted more salt. My husband didn't use any more salt and I used a little more. They also had a couple of sauce to put on if you wanted to make it hotter. I did use those because I like things spicier. I found the meat to be sliced properly that it was tender and yet still juicy. I would go back to this restaurant again if I lived closer. We were from Tennessee and they're in Montgomery on business. But we will be sure when we are in Montgomery to go to the La Costa restaurant again.

When giving a rating for a Mexican restaurant it can be a little tricky. To start off with everyone seem to be very nice, Hostess and our waitress was very attentive. We ordered our dinner and it came out within 10 minutes, which was pretty fast considering it was five of us eating, and dinner time. Salsa: It was very tasty and not to thin or thick, perfect (for us). Food: Everything was good, not great but good. My father complained about his tacos being (WAY TO SALTY), so we all tried them and concluded that my dad is old and that something is wrong with this taste buds lol. Everyone else was happy with their choice. Prices: About the same as any other Mexican restaurant, $4-5 for children, $6-12 for adults. Cleanliness: I wasn't impressed from the outward appearance and a little better on the inside. We sat over in the corner next to where the doors to the air conditioning or to the refrigerators were. They seem to be very dusty and dirty like they have never Been touched. So then I imagine what the kitchen was looking. Never made my way back there but I sure hope it was cleaner then the corner we were sitting in. I tried to explain and hopefully it will be cleaned up very soon. Either way I would definitely come back for another visit.

The food was great. Our waitress was sweet.
At the end of the meal, it took forever to get our check. We had to flag her down. She was attentive otherwise.
Overall we'd go again. We may just ask for our check as soon as we get our meal.
