Locos Taqueria

I expected more traditional fare. Even the staples of rice and beans were a little disappointing. My rice had many hard undercooked pieces, but it also didn't seem super fresh. The beans were a blended mash of black beans that could've used a little more seasoning in my mind. The service and atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming.

We found this place while we were staying at The Waters for vacation. We were skeptical because were from California, and it’s placed on its own. But it was amazing.

First, classic Mexican. The tortilla chips were amazing and the salsa trio is what you want.

Second, the tacos came on these homemade corn tortillas that your dreams are made of. They were all delicious.

Third, they have a great beer menu.

Fourth, service was great. They really took care of us and gave recommendations.

And fifth. Dessert. We got flan, bread pudding and churros. They were so delicious.

Only cons- I’m not sure the guac was worth it for the price/amount. It was tasty but expensive compared to the rest.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was delicious.

The food was beyond amazing! The service was exceptional and such a nice little place off the beaten path with Argentinian flair and flavor. We had the street tacos and beer, so good!

Everything from drinks, appetizers, and the meal was authentic and delicious. Family style restaurant with amazing customer service. A diamond in the rough, this will be our new favorite spot in Montgomery County!

Don't hesitate to stop here if you like Mexican food! My friend and I happened to find this while searching for a lunch stop during our road trip. It looks underwhelming on the outside, but my friend suspected it would be authentic Mexican. It was! Our lunches were delicious and the staff are super friendly. Will definitely be back when I drive through this area in the future!
