Miyako Japanese Steak & Sushi

Miyako Sushi is one restaurant that might be called a neighborhood gem. I only get here once or twice a year when I have to work in Montgomery, but this place has provided quality reliable sushi for many years. Their Vaughn road location is somewhat out of the way if you don't venture far from the interstate, but their sashimi has a mark and taste of fresh quality. The presentations are really nice. This is a quiet place, very suitable for a business or intimate meal. Although I am hard pressed to eat anything but sashimi in places like this, I know many acquaintances who rave about their Japanese grill menu and show.

Such a fun experience with all of my friends. My friends and I ate around the grill and a had a blast with the chef. He kept us entertained with his cooking style. The food was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed our time at Miyako Japanese restaurant and will definitely be coming back.

I've never had a bad sushi roll here. Always fresh and perfectly made. The sushi donut is HUGE and delicious, the avocado sunrise always has the perfect avocado, and the daniel roll is amazing. Someday I'll take food photos before I devour it all, but that didn't happen this time!
