Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Went to try the much talked about chicken sandwich. Although my experience was this location, I understand it's true for most. I decided to go through the drive thru. I was 8 cars back but it took me over 30 minutes to get to the window, nearly 9 minutes per car. The food was still warm but not hot, telling me it wasn't the wait for the food that delayed the service. They could learn alot from their competition. As for the sandwich, the flavor had a slightly seafood taste as it is cooked in the same oil as the shrimp. It lacked the seasoning of a Chick fil a but was moist. The sweet and sour pickles were interesting but the mayo was too heavy. The bun is soft but adds nothing to the taste. Toasting it more would help. I would add ketchup and Texas Pete like I do to my Chick fil a. All in all I would eat it again but not instead of the king of the chicken sandwich. Get the service down to under 2 minutes and fry in the oil with the other chicken and we will talk.

Hey customer ... Great place to eat with fast and friendly service. Management is outstanding and knowledgeable. Better than most other similar stores in Montgomery. Highly recommended and highly favored ... Come again.
