Sol Restaurante Mexicano & Taqueria

We were seated immediately and given chips and salsa and drink orders taken. We ordered a taco salad and a chimichanga. I was so surprised about the food! Everything fresh and very tasty! The guacamole looked like it was home made and tasted wonderful! We had a great dining experience this time! Whatever they did, it's really great food! Sometimes it's worth giving a place a second chance!

We go to this place once a week with friends! We usually get the same waiter & hes great! He comes with our plates loaded up his entire arm! The margaritas are great & the food is always hot & flavorful.

Wow! They have the best fajitas I have had in a long long time! I got the steak and shrimp fajitas which came mixed with peppers and onions in a huge ceramic bowl that stayed hot through the whole meal. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. The price wasn’t bad either. My wife and I really like this place and will definitely be back for another date. It’s great for large groups as well, there were several groups with twelve or more people there on the Saturday night we went and it didn’t seem slow or crowded at all.

I've been to Sol twice now and have enjoyed myself both times. The space is large, so there's not usually a wait! Staff are all very nice, and my waiter this most recent time was super accommodating with our requests. Food comes out promptly as do drinks! This will be my go to for Mexican food while in Montgomery for the year.

Service was great. Food was good. Portions were a good size but my husbands food was burned. Server was amazing until a larger group arrived and we had to ask other servers for refills and our check. Flan tasted like it went bad. Kids fried chicken tenders were so dry and flat. Definitely go for the kids grilled chicken instead.
