VYBZ BRUNCH

So a few weeks ago I went to Vybz for happy hour with a friend for the first time , while there I thought this would be a good place to bring the office for our “Happy Thursday”. I talked to the manager made a reservation for up to 15 people for yesterday at 1100. I arrive at 1100 yesterday and to my surprise they were closed!!!!!! They had recently changed their hours because of staffing issues and were not opening until 5 😤😤😤😤. The owner Codera came out and said he was sorry of course I am like I have 11 other people on the way , I made this reservation in person nobody called me to tell me that you all were now closed. He said hold on the cook is here let me check with him. Alvin the cook come out and said no problem. Willie and Codera said give us 20 minutes to set up. Service was great!!!! We were able to order from the full menu, Willie the server was the best very attentive and quick. The food was great only one person had leftovers and that was only because he ordered hush puppies but got fries and they brought the hush puppies out anyway and he had a few left and didn’t want to leave them. This is how you handle business!!!!! they made a mistake but instead of losing a customer they gain customers that had never heard of their restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the food and service and I am sure will tell others and be back, but not before 5 Tuesday-Thursday lol

1st Visit - had room to grow. Waiter was off food was off. Understood that it just opened and still had room to grow. Shared feed back with manager on everything in detail.

3rd visit- Perfect!! Vybz is shaping up to be one of the best restaurants in the area. Growing pains have shifted to amazing dishes that force you to take pics of before you dive in. Cannot go wrong with a full menu all day!

Just left the food is amazing. The wait for the drinks is crazy they need to work on that part. Staff is great, but again the wait for drinks is craaazzzyyy. We ordered our drinks first; we finished our appetizers and almost finished our food by the time the drink came.

Man, where do I start.... When I say that everything about this place is great, I mean stellar. The food, the service, the laid back vibe....

Attention to details matter. Food served on warmed plates, syrup for waffles served warm, food cooked perfectly. The asparagus in my wife's dish was spot on. So many places serve it over done and soggy. This was tender, but still crispy..... Perfect!
The manager, Will, came over to check on us and I could stop telling him how excellent of a job he and his staff are doing. The owner happening to be in today also and came over to introduce himself. I again let him know also how well his team is doing. That's not always easy when you first open. This place has been open for only 2 weeks and from what we saw, is running like a well oiled machine.

Thanks to the staff and management of the newest brunch spot in The Gump. If everything stays the same as what happened with our experience there today continues, this place will have ultimate success! This could be the Urban Oasis of Montgomery.

I absolutely loved it I had a great time, managers came and checked in asked how we liked everything. My server had me get up and dance it was great!! I will be back.
