Enjoyed a valentine dinner with my wife @ 609 Social. The atmosphere is very open with views of the seafood counter, bar and kitchen adjacent to seating area. The wait staff was attentive and service was very good. The menu is minimal in a good way (one page) but with very nice entre selections and assortment of tasty sides. My wife enjoyed the grouper pontchartrain and I had the 16 oz ribeye. Both items arrived cooked as ordered and tasted great. They also make a very nice dirty gin martini. When we arrived I was under the impression that we could select a seafood option from the cooler and have it cooked to order but unfortunately this was not an option. I hope they get this worked out because I really wanted to try the trigger fish. It is nice to finally have a decent restaurant in town. Thanks for coming to Decatur.
New spot in Decatur that beats meals we've had in Nashville and New York. Had a great bloody mary from the bar. Great place to grab a six pack/wine and some supplies for a gourmet meal at home or to sit down and be served. Menu has a ton of variety- pizza, pasta, oysters, burgers, gumbo. Staff was attentive and upbeat. We'll be back!
