The food is absolutely amazing! The ONLY bad things id say are that it's extremely loud, would be helpful to have some sound absorbing panels, & there must be no ventilation, because EVERY time i go there to eat, when i leave, my clothes smell so strongly of the place (food & grease). But again, the food is so delicious!!
The Railyard is a neat dining experience. The building is a historic building that has been renovated into an inviting atmosphere. The food and libations were of an excellent quality. The staff was very attentive even with our large group of 30 people. Everything was exceptionally good from the appetizers to dessert and everything between. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Decatur Alabama!
The food was very good. We came with a large group of ten and we seated immediately. The service was fantastic and we got everything pretty quick. The cheese fritters are fantastic and I recommend getting them. Also their twist of putting BBQ on shrimp and grits is a great idea. We will be back for sure.
The RailYard was a wonderful experience that I can't wait to try again! All of our food was amazing but you really must try Kentucky Derby pie with Bourbon ice cream. Our server Ryan was easily one of the best servers we've ever had. He was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Thanks for an enjoyable meal on all counts!
My father and I had a nice experience here. The food was well prepared and of good quality. The service was good and polite. The only issue we had was that my father had to use a flashlight to read the menu due to the Edison Bulb string lighting. I understand the atmosphere they are trying to set, it just fails for people with vision issues.
