Waffle House

Now in my personal experience you can't ever go wrong eating at a waffle house. I always order a chicken cheese omelet. great every time at any location.

Please give Double D an award, Waffle House, because he is definitely your best employee. We came in on a drive from Huntsville to Prattville, but he made us feel 100 percent at home. Friendly, funny, helpful, and really good at selling us on getting dessert! The crew manning the stove were doing a great job too, because my patty melt was really good. Perfect brown crisp on the Texas toast, waffle, and the hash browns.

Food was pretty good. Server wasn't great but was obviously new and therefore acceptable. The woman at the register (server normally cashes you out but he's too new I guess?) snatched my money out of my hand without speaking a word to me or even looking my way.

Awesome staff! Even at midnight visit; staff will wake you up by their cheerful spirit! I was glad that we made that stop ????

I have always loved Waffle House and can't think of even a slightly negative comment. While my favorite is the had and cheese omelette plate, (with hash browns scattered and covered, of course), my daughter has seldom ordered anything except steak and eggs.
I love the open atmosphere and listening to stories and dilemmas of the cooks and servers.
Definitely a "one of a kind" place.
