Momma Goldberg's Deli

One of our favorite lunch places! Sandwiches, nachos and soup are always good.

Wife and I have eaten at several Mama Gs locations while traveling through Alabama. She’s a huge fan. Nonetheless, the Troy location was hands down the best location due to the service. They were extremely busy, but the entire staff was friendly and very engaged. Josh, the manager, was just as busy helping customers as the rest of his staff, good example of leadership in a small business environment! Of course, the food was also great!

Good food, excellent service. Classic small-town deli feel. I happen to love pellet ice, so I said excitedly to my wife "they have the good ice." Then the employees told me to come back to the counter after we ate and gave me a huge bag of ice. (Which is still in my freezer, pellet ice is the bomb) The Rueben and "Mamma's love" were both tasty sandwiches.

Really enjoyed lunch in this nice sandwich shop. They have soups and salads and even a veggie burger. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They must have every kind of sandwich and you can create your own which is a nice option. Loved the town of Troy, and would love to visit there again. Highly recommend Momma Goldberg's.
