Bobber's bar and grill

Great Place, great service, good menu. Need to work on getting food out hot, especially the baked potatoes. Too much salt on the mashed potatoes. A few tweaks on the cooking. And should be good to go. My meal was 20 minutes behind others because they had to remake gravey for country freind steak.

Rib eye steak was out of this world! Server was very good! Loved the atmosphere

We were initially told we would have to sit outside (the temperature was 92) because they didn't have any small tables open, even though they had 2 very large tables that were empty. But there was in fact a small table that my husband spotted. Very limited menu. The fried green tomatoes were very good. And so was the catfish, but the only thing on the menu that sounded good to me was extremely overpriced. I ordered chicken fingers which I ended up feeding to a stray dog in the parking lot. On a positive note our waitress's name was Kylee and she was GREAT!!

Arrived at 5:45 ordered and received salads and tea, all was well. At 6:30 the people at the table behind us had started eating and then received their salads, they informed the waitress they no longer wanted the salads because they already had their food. They finished eating and another family sat down. At 6:45 I asked waitress if our order had been lost. 5 minutes later she came back and confirmed the lost order. We re-ordered . We had called friends on the way to the restaurant to see if they wanted to meet us there. They were over an hour away so they called and asked if we were still there so I told them to come on and we asked for a larger table and the people that had set down at the table behind us left because they couldn't get service. Our friends arrived at 7:00 and ordered . I got my food at 7:25 and my wife and friends got theirs at 7:40. We made the best of an evening and ate and had a few beers and left there at 8:45. I gave this establishment 3 stars because the food is really good and the atmosphere is also but unfortunately the service is not even close to par. I fully blame the manager because a good manager would take care of the waitress problem weather it is lack of training or whatever and all would be well. Here is a new restaurant with so much potential. But unfortunately will go downhill fast if the service part of the equation isn't dealt with in a timely manner. I hesitated going here because I had heard bad things about the service but I gave it a couple of months thinking it would all be good and I was wrong. I guess the owner of this establishment must live in another state and not realize what is going on or lives local and just doesn't care. Whatever the case may be I will give it a few more months and try it again. If we get the same results then that will be it. We did get our meal free because of the confusion.

Had the shrimp with onion rings and side salad and it was all great with decent portions. The waitresses took care of you without having to hunt them down. Can't wait to go back.
