“GREAT food and employees were superb! We got a sample of everything on the menu and EVERYTHING was delish!! The music was too loud as they use big amps by the pool tables; BUT, without ASKING they came and ASKED US if it was too loud - and, said they would gladly turn it down! We didn't want to put a damper on the fun people were having on the dance floor and we were just there to eat and shoot a few games of pool. Not a problem! They're also the only place I've had in two years that understands what 'Extra Sauce' means. “I am going to 3 star this restaurant bcos of my mixed feelings about it. It is relatively new so I always try to allow for that. I will say they have delicious biscuits. I love their bacon cheeseburger combo and the fried chicken. However it is what I call a "hit or miss" with them for right now. When it is good it is very good but when it is a "miss"--not so much. I will continue to go back for now. I just hope they will become more of a "hit" than "miss." Will post again later.”

“So. Darn. Delicious! Our family was traveling back from Florida to Missouri and stopped to grab lunch & I'm glad we chose this spot (a gem). A sweet young woman (Savannah) greeted us when we walked in. Their menu was cheap for the portion served ????????????????. All tables had a hot sauce and BBQ sauce. The restaurant was clean. There were plenty of tables to accommodate the lunch rush. Our kiddos got tenders and fries, my husband got the pork platter, & I got the turkey sandwich. We were all impressed with our food. The ladies working behind the counter were friendly and helpful. This is the kind of spot we need in STL. Way to go Hog Rock! Thank you for the great food and hospitality!!”

“I like the fact that this is actually a true “pub,” good selection of beer only and conveniently located next to a cigar shop. One piece of advice, Uber will drop you off, but not pick you up. If you want to Uber back home will need to hike back across the 13th st pedestrian bridge from Phenix City to Columbus. Once in Columbus Uber will pick you up. However (so the drivers tell me) Lyft will both drop off and pick up at this spot.”

Now I find out only one KFC in Columbus Georgia has Grilled Chicken on Manchester Expressway. And why is that why would they have discontinued that. “I'll start bu saying this, I've been to this church's about 10 times in a year, and on two occasions there was no chicken, so why even stay open as if you've got some to sale? Anyway, this is what you need to know if your gonna visiting. If your not a fan of small spacing then I suggest the drive thru, with it usually being packed inside, the spacing suffers even more. Ther employees are cool for the most part, but finding a smiling face in there is highly unlikely, unless you go early in the day!”
