The food is consistently well prepared and tasty, staff members gives great service. I really like how clean it is and ambience. Keep up the good work.
I had an awesome experience at this spot. We enjoyed the extraordinary environment and the menu. The staff members are very friendly. I’m happy we eventually decided to try this restaurant.
We got Mexican tacos (not on the menu), the tamale, and the trio enchilada. They only had asada and Pollo tacos, but they were interesting. The tacos didn't come with a salsa, so we asked for a sauce for the tacos and they gave us a dark brown (and quite spicy) sauce. It had a unique flavor, pretty good. The tamale also came with an unusual sauce, kinda like mole. The trio enchilada was the best of the things we had, each one had a different sauce - a red sauce, a brown sauce, and a green sauce. I wonder where the cook is from in Mexico, many of these flavors were new to me.
The atmosphere was nice too, there are beautiful murals on the walls. I would give the food 3.5 to 4 stars, but the main negative here was that it took around 40 minutes from the time we were seated in order for us to get food on our table, so I think they were understaffed. I'd like to come back again and see if we discover more new flavors.
Great place for family dinner best mexican food I've ever tasted yes it's a old. Building and could use remodeling but you can't beat the service and the food well worth giving this place a try
I really enjoyed this Mexican restaurant close to home their prices for the most popular Mexican meals back at home in CA are way more reasonable. However, their portions are much smaller than what I’d expect. The restaurant is fairly clean, their menu choices are very good but the more common traditional Mexican dishes I would find in Tijuana as well as in San Diego, aren’t on the menu it’s still very good. I recommend that if you live in Alabaster or near by or just passing through, and want to try an exceptionally traditional Mexican restaurant with great dishes to choose from, I’d definitely try here.
