Hit Different! BBQ & Grill

We decided to try this new place, and it didn't disappoint. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the owner and staff who checked on us throughout our meal, ensuring we had everything we needed.

Now, onto the food! The whole chicken wings were not only huge but delicious. I even asked the owner if they sold the breading separately, it was that good! Unfortunately, they don't. My son thoroughly enjoyed his hamburger slider, and my wife couldn't stop raving about the collards.

If we could rate between 1 and 'slap your grandma,' Grandma would definitely have some flush cheeks!

Such a lovely experience! From the moment we came in we felt like we were family. It was very welcoming and friendly, and ordering was easy! We even got to sample the potato salad, and it was so good 😍 we had the bbq half chicken, and the pulled pork mac and cheese and both were fantastic!

Fantastic family owned restaurant, the epitome of hole in the wall. Apparently they were formerly a food truck. The food here is great along with generous portions. Many, if not all of the recipes seem to be family recipes so you probably won't get the exact thing elsewhere (try the sweet potato casserole, seriously). When we were there, the owners personally served us and checked back routinely, they were very kind and personable to me, my wife, and our little girl. My daughter claims her chicken fingers were the best she's ever had, she's 7 so she knows more about chicken fingers than me I suppose. I had the ribs which were fall off the bone tender and my wife had a burger which she said was delicious. Overall, it was a great experience. They could add a little more decor but the business had only been open a week when I went so I can't fault them too much for that. Definitely recommend, we will be back too. 😁

Food average, service scattered (they were trying their best I think though). Atmosphere was a bit drab. Decor needed some personality. They need some time to work on these issues. Apparently, a family run business. Not sure if any of the employees running front of house have experience in table service. Menu was a bit big for a restaurant that ran (or runs?) a food truck. Could be sized down along with smaller portions.

I absolutely adore these people!! Very friendly!! Service was amazing!! THE FOOD WAS PERFECT!! SO much flavor!! It’s truly one of my favorite places to eat!!!
