Tequilas Mexican Grill & Cantina

Honestly the man there was super sweet, he was super patient with us. Kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything else. The food was amazing as well!

First time dining here and found the food, atmosphere and service to be very good. All three diners at our table agreed that the food was tasty, fresh and hot. The only negative was the hot salsa that we requested. The "fire roasting" was a bit overbearing making the salsa a touch bitter. However the regular salsa was very good. Tequila's will definitely be on our list of places to return. Pardon the state of the photo. I had already dug into my Enchiladas Suiza before I remembered to take a picture.

I had my first meal (lunch) at Tequilas today and it was absolutely fantastic. I appreciate that the restaurant describes itself as a "Mexican Grill," but it's so much more. The menu has a lot of variety and includes several Mexican and Caribbean dishes at reasonable prices. On my first visit, I had a patacón, a sandwich of sorts made with fried green plantain instead of bread. Apparently, the patacón hails from Venezuela but is popular throughout the Caribbean, especially among Dominicans such as the restaurant's friendly and joyful owner, José. Before starting on the sandwich, I dove headfirst into one of the best baskets of tortilla chips I've had in ages. You can actually taste the corn in these chips and see the peppers floating among the tomatoes and onions of the salsa.
I recommend you try Tequilas on your next lunch break or dinner. I know that I will definitely be back.

Awesome place! Very friendly employees and the food was fantastic; a step above the other restaurants around here. About 30 minutes after we left, we realized our daughter had left some goofy plastic ring that just about had her in pieces. We called up and they had already found it and set it aside for us in case we came back. Couldn't ask for much more out of a restaurant!

What a great new place to enjoy Mexican, Cuban and a taste of the Caribbean. Vast menu all very reasonably priced. Full bar (wine by this weekend). Warm welcome and friendly service. Already thinking what I will eat next time! Chips were fresh as was the salsa. Cheese dip was yummy too!
