I don't know, Cracker Barrel just never impresses me. The food and service are good, but I guess I'm just used to soul food, and unfortunately I've been to better soul food places. They're also pretty pricy, in food and the gift shop. Few things in the gift shop are worth buying, especially clothes because the clothes don't have the durability you'd expect from those prices. At Cracker Barrel price does not equate quality unfortunately. They do have some neat trinkets and books that you can sometimes find for reasonable prices, and if you're a Christian they have many books, journals, and other stationary and CD's for you, but again, the price is inflated.
TL;DR Price doesn't equal quality. There's better foods and trinkets elsewhere for much cheaper that has better durability.
Always consistent. Really good. From Breakfast to Supper or Coffee and Desert. Very Good
Great food. Friendly courteous staff. Great country store too.
Overall, it wasn't bad. Cracker Barrel is pretty consistent so the country fried steak I had for lunch yesterday was pretty much the same as the one I've had back home in Florence, AL. A little overcooked this time but I still at everything -- got macaroni and cheese, pintos, broccoli, and 2 biscuits as sides -- and felt totally stuffed afterward. My girl got the grilled chicken salad and said it was good, too. The service was friendly as always. All in all, no real complaints. Thanks, Cracker Barrel!
