The Back Porch

Enjoyed a BLT here, but we came on a day when they were extremely busy (Saturday) so we had an extended wait for a table and service. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Delicious food, beautiful view looking out over the river, excellent customer service. Very relaxing place.

There are few places to eat on Logan Martin lake. There are even fewer places where one can drive his boat to a dock and walk up to eat. The food is excellent and they have a great variety of choices. The staff is friendly and helpful. My ONLY reason for not giving 5 starts is the time it takes to get your food after it is ordered. Do yourself a favor and go when you are not in a hurry. The food and the atmosphere is worth the effort (and the time)!

This is my happy place. I get either blackened catfish or fried shrimp entree with baked potato, salad and hush puppies and it never gets old. We sit under the weeping willow tree on the deck looking out over the lake that is always breezy even when it is steamy. And the staff!! They make you feel like they have been waiting for you to get there all day. Don't miss out on this treasure on the lake. You won't regret it.

The food and service was great. There was 7 in our party and we ate inside. We wanted to eat on the deck but it was too hot and humid that day.
My boyfriend and I had the shrimp and grits special and it was delicious.
The shrimp was tender, the grits perfectly seasoned and creamy.
The portion size was large, we both took home leftovers.
