Buck's

If you haven't had Buck's fried chicken you are missing a true life experience. It is life altering. The coleslaw is a staple too.

I like this place a lot. Small home town feel. Food is good and people are friendly definitely recommend. I recommend the Coleslaw.

I have visited for lunch for the last 2 days. I have found the staff to be quite polite and friendly. The first day there was a little weight but to compensate for this they did give me a free sweet tea. Kudos for me :-) today I decided to call in my order since I am going during lunch hours and when I got there my food was already ready. The staff once again was very polite and friendly. My food is hot and fresh. I ordered pork chops with fried green tomatoes and broccoli and cheese with a roll. I think Bucks have a very nice menu and variety. I haven't tried their ice cream but hey who can mess up ice cream it all looks great here. If you are coming through the Alexander City area, I would recommend that you stop there if you have the time because it's not on the main Highway 280 is a little off the beaten path on Highway 22.
