Waffle House

Hey! It's the Waffle House. If you have eaten at one you have eaten at them all. I have noticed the menu prices have gone up over the years. I wonder if what they pay people has shown a similar increase? The hash browns have remained a perennial favorite of mine. The thing that I like most about the waffle house is that it has gone non-smoking. Before they did that, it was easier to breathe in Los Angeles.

I've dined at Waffle Houses in every state they are located in, having had 100's of Waffle House meals. I'd give 90+% of them 4 or 5 stars. The All-Star special is a favorite of mine and I had it here at about 9AM on a Friday. Restaurant was 1/3rd full. Waffle was too cool to melt the soft butter they provide and the hash browns were about the same temp. They need to be very warm, and ideally hot. Restaurant was clean and newer. Service was ok.

A genuine top-notch, five star experience! The food was excellent, and the service was unparalleled. Laurie was the best server, and Eric was an amazing cook. 10/10 will definitely be back again!

Eating late at night? The ONLY place to go is the Waffle House. The food was great and the staff was amazing! They were kind and friendly. Very warm and welcoming. I recommend the 2 egg breakfast and a blueberry waffle. Can't say enough about the staff - just chatting with them was worth the stop.
