I love eating breakfast at The Flying Machine. There are so many great choices and they are all delicious.

The restaurant has some great views of the lakes surrounding the hotel and staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. For this visit we have one of their traditional Alaskan breakfasts, featuring reindeer meats and pancakes and it did not disappointed. You definitely will want to seat by the window as the views to my opinion enhance your breakfast experience. If you’re getting of the plane this is a great place to grab some breakfast since it’s only about 5 minutes form the airport.

I have received the best of service here. Maybe a little on the expensive side and could use a little bit more salt & pepper but I think that is a personal preference more than anything else. The food was made perfectly. Temperature ingredients and style. I enjoyed myself I sat there and watch the planes flying in and out on the water and had excellent for new service. I highly recommend eating here to anyone who is in town. Local should come as well.

My favorite place to go in the summer. I love watching the float planes take off and land, and love meeting visitors from around the world in the lounge.
If you haven't been here I highly recommend it. There's an outdoor seating area as well. Great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere.

Views are nice, overlooking the world's busiest sea plane base. Food is hit or miss depending on what you get. (The burgers look like a solid choice). Service is friendly and attentive. Would come again and try a burger.
