K Street Eats

My favorite food trucks in one spot all summer long. This is my definition of Heaven on earth. Love it!!

I'm a big fan of food trucks but I would argue that most of them charge too much in town. The appeal of food trucks are the affordability to flavor ratio and few have good enough food to charge restaurant prices ($14 for two tacos?). Personal recommendation, go with Sa Se Bon for some good Cajun. The owner is retired and cooks because he loves it. I always respect someone that does something out of passion rather that making a buck.

Good place to go they have a great variety of food and many trucks to choose from. Sit outside and enjoy the summer air.

The vegetable gouda chowder was delicious. I wanted to try some other things but ran out of time.

I was able to creat a freakin' cheese/sausage/cracker platter at the last minute with a quick stop at K street, for an event I was rushing to. They have everything there! And their deli stuff is great for a lunch stop!
