Stronghold Cafe

The food is fresh and made to order. That is a positive and negative. The food is delicious, but you must have patience.

The hours are also not the best.

But for the area, the service and hours are standard.

One of the most quaint and delicious little cafes stuck between some farms that I've ever been to. Scenery is almost as beautiful as the souls of those that work there.

Coming here was an awesome experience for me. It's off the beaten path a bit, but when I went there, even though I was 1 of 2 customers we sat and talked the 4 of us up until closing. The owners served us drinks and a great sandwich.

The food is high quality and the price is good. The people cool as heck and the service is great. It's very clean too.

I wasn't hungry when I went but I wish I hadn't eaten for days because I want to order a full meal there one day. Until next time stronghold!

You need to eat here! Scratch made food! Amazing husband and wife team and their daughter bakes the bread and makes desert. Amazing dinner with my mom and dad and we all had a dinner with salad, an entree and dessert for a great price. Eat here!!!!

Stronghold Cafe is an amazing hidden gem in the Sunsites area. It's the only place within a 45 minute drive with the high caliber food that can be consistently found here, at beyond reasonable prices. Pair that with the clean and beautiful atmosphere and it's a winner every time. The owners Belle and Dirk make you feel like you are visiting good friends, while also cooking up the best tasting fresh ingredients to please your pallets. If you're in the area this is a must not miss place.
