    Food delicious bur service and timeliness were lacking.. Took along time to get seated and took along time for food to arrive

    We took a small trip out to Douglas from Herferd. We decided to visit this beautiful old hotel. The vibe there was great. We waited for the saloon to open up to have a few drinks before we left. I would like to stay there one of these days.

    We fell in love with The Gadsden Hotel our first visit. Very clean rooms, beautiful lobby, fabulous food. Very welcoming owners and staff. The Tiffany windows are epic. The history of the hotel and the Douglas area is a well kept secret in this country; but we tell everyone!!! We will return!!

    Didn't actually spend the night here, but stopped for a rest on the way to somewhere else. Cute cafe and restaurant. Gorgeous historical building. Interesting Vietnam Vets museum. Definitely a good place to take a break.
