Twisted Twin Ramen

Amazing little ramen shop! I highly recommend it's authentic to japanese ramen style. Their shrimp Tempura was too die for. We got their twisted blank tonkatsu ramen and their hang over bowl. Definitely will be coming back. Also our server was emily she was amazing and so sweet!

The image/atmosphere is nice enough for the most part. Great sign out front, mostly clean modern stylish interior, with only the floor needing a sweep due to the foot traffic.

It wasn't immediately obvious upon walking in if we should seat ourselves or not, so we approached the counter and were told we could have a seat. There were both tables and booths available.

We Sat for about 2 minutes before someone brought us paper menus and offered drinks. We had looked online ahead of time and checked the menu before I asked for the Bubble tea but I was informed they were out and only had coke products or lemonade available. We asked if they had iced tea and they did so that's what I ordered.

The menu was a paper print out which isn't necessarily a bad thing but since it was not laminated it was warped and stained which is not a great first impression for a restaurant to make. I strongly recommend management invest in a laminator to allow the menus to be sanitized between uses. It's possible they're waiting for more permanent menus but until then this would help the image.

The iced sweet tea was decent, served in a metal cup, tasted like Lipton no real issues there.

We had intended to order 2 meals but my husband was very turned off by the state of the menu. So we ordered the dumplings as an appetizer and a bowl of their 6-8hr pork belly ramen to share.

The presentation of both was very nice. The dumplings were served in a wooden slatted bowl of sorts with a side of a dark sauce that tasted like teriyaki and was very good and also a side of mayo with red tint to it, it was not spicy according to my husband. I didn't try it. He said it just tasted like mayo. The dumplings themselves were crispy which I liked, they didn't have much flavor on their own but they were yummy when dipped in the darker Sauce.

The ramen was served in a large metallic tinted ceramic bowl and they gave us a second bowl and soup spoon to use since we were sharing.
The ramen noodles were what I would expect from ramen. The pork was floppy fatty and almost mushy as a person who is sensitive to textures it was not appealing to me. The half of a hard boiled egg in it was tasty. The broth was warm and comforting but didn't have a strong flavor despite being adorned with bamboo, green onions, saffron and seaweed along with the pork and egg.

It was okay but didn't stand out as something I'd look forward to again.

The staff seemed nice enough, our server offered refills and asked how the meal was. Nothing exceptional but acceptable service.

All in all it was a bit disappointing as a first experience. I had been looking forward to the bubble tea and ended up going somewhere else for it after. We might give it another shot to try the rice meals and see if things have improved, if so I'll be sure to update my review.

Honestly, if I could submit this place to receive a Michelin star I would! The food was amazing, so beautifully presented I forgot to take a picture of my Gyoza and spam rice bowl but did snag a picture of my delicious dessert. The service was incredible, Cindy is a remarkable server and was so kind and attentive to my needs. Even the chef came out to make sure everyone was happy and taken care of! 100/10 will be back for more :)

THIS IS THE BEST TRADITIONAL RAMEN RESTAURANT AROUND!! The service was lovely, our waitress was so sweet and made us feel so comfortable for our first time visiting. The wait wasn't long at all! It came out so much quicker than I expected and it was so delicious! The food was amazing, flavorful, rich, divine, I could go on and on! I can't wait to go back again! I hope they stick around for a while because this food is so delicious, I'm obsessed!

No one cooks like this. Best place in town and it is not even close. I think the chef might have studied under gordon ramsey or something. Been here 3 times now, and every time each plate is perfection. Not only do the plates look like a dream, they taste like one too. I wonder how many people have asked the chef to adopt them so they can have food that tastes like this every day.
