I happened to eat here while in Arizona visiting friends. They mentioned it was their favorite place to eat whenever visiting Tombstone; it didn't disappoint.
My steak was absolutely incredible....perfectly cooked and seasoned.
It was served with fresh mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini that melted in my mouth faster than the butter melted on the steak.
The atmosphere is perfect for Tombstone, and the service was spectacular!
I don't know if I'll ever be through Tombstone again, but if I am, I will most certainly be stopping here for a meal!
The Longhorn offers the best in American food in Tombstone. Don't sleep on their steaks, as they are very good, juicy, and tender. Ate there two nights in a row because it was that good. Good drinks and polite staff. Virgil Earp was also maimed right outside of the saloon in the late 1880s after the fight behind the OK Corral.
Although an excellent restaurant on its own merits, the Longhorn also stands out in comparison with other restaurants in Tombstone, in that I felt like I got my money's worth here. Lunch for five. Friendly and attentive staff. Succulent meatloaf and mashed potatoes, both with gravy, crispy fish, a mouth watering cheese burger, good sized chicken tenders, and a surprisingly savory bean burrito. The french fries were also crispy and tasty. No problems feeding the children here, and the menu has helpful suggestions for child friendly fare. Sorry, no pictures - my phone died.
Went one day when it was packed. Robert was our server. Got to us quickly and got our food to us quickly. Food was value priced and tasted good! Robert was so friendly. Next day we went back, not nearly as packed. Our server Savannah never acknowledged us in 40 minutes even though the host pointed us out twice to her. We left and went to Vogans.
