Eduardo was a great waiter and deserves a raise. Hubby had the bacon cheddar burger and said every bit of it was spot on, great flavor. I had the turkey avocado croissant and it looked just like the picture on the menu. The French fries were just as good, fresh and not greasy. And very big filling meals. The banana pie was okay but the bananas were brown and filling bland but crust was good, so not a home run.
We had a breakfast dinner at Coco's Bakery Restaurant. I can best describe the experience as a slightly more refined Denny's. My wife had an omelet and I had pancakes and eggs. They were both well prepared and tasty. Prices were reasonable and the service was good. I would definitely return if in the area.
Traveling from out of town and stopped in for a hardy breakfast for Easter. Walking in the door, 5 of their staff members were standing there and very welcoming. Our order was cooked quickly and we were grateful for the speediness of service.
We ordered an Eggs Benedict, with "over hard" eggs. (No runny yoke) The server, (Angel M.S) returned with the eggs half cooked. When we brought it to her attention she said, "isn't it cooked enough for you?" Her tone felt sarcastic. My 9 year old noticed and asked "why was she talking to us like that."
The customer experience is just as important as the food. When serving a large demographic college town, it's important to feel welcome. Unfortunately today, wasn't one of those days. Hopefully that was a one-off experience.
Overall - Good food. Healthy portions. Central location by the hotels. Could use some attention to dirt/dust in the wood partitions.
Absolutely would go here again and would recommend to friends and family. The decor is reminiscent of the 90s with its pastel color palette and leftover fencing separation between what was probably smoking and non. However while they kept that dated decor it doesn't feel run down or dirty at all. It's charming! The service was excellent. We were greeted with a smile and sat immediately. The menu had a fantastic range of choices. The server was very attentive. The wait for anything we needed was almost nonexistent. The food was out promptly and it was delicious. Everything was prepared exactly as it should be, and with generous portions. Perfect way to fill up before a big day of hiking and sight seeing! Go here for sure!
