Pinewood Bar & Grill

I stopped at Pinewood Bar and Grill on Sat and Mon, Sat you can have breakfast all day, Monday follows the regular pattern of breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. I was served quickly and attentively, Saturday the place was pretty full, Monday I was the only customer when I walked in. Good tasty food both days. On Saturday I had the typical breakfast eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and buttered toast with preserves on the side. The sausage patties were huge and very tasty, eggs were just as I asked, over easy, hashbrowns crispy and satisfying. Monday I had a BLT which hit the spot perfectly, not too heavy but tasty tomato, lettuce and a generous portion of bacon on wheat toast. Pinewood B&G is just 30 minutes south of Flagstaff AZ but if you don't want to hassle with the traffic in Flagstaff, Pinewood in Munds Park has easy access both in and out back on the highway.

Not much more needed for a small town bar and grill. Double cheeseburger was very good, as was chicken strips. We did pick up but would have liked to hang out a bit in the bar. Has the small town bar feel to it.

Service was great, very friendly. The food wasnt bad, but wasn't great either. It's the standard quality and type you would get at any dive bar. If your hungry and there's nothing else, stop here. But I will probably try to go somewhere else next time.

Had the chili cheese omelette. Very good! Biscuit was excellent. Server was competent and sweet. Kept coffee cup full. Reasonably priced meal.

Stopped in a drink and ordered a pizza for takeout the other night. We're new to the area and looking for some good local eats. Matt the bartender seemed really busy. It took him a while to get to us and he helped someone who came after us first, but when he came around to us he seemed friendly enough, just stretched thin. The pizza was decent and the cocktails were good. We'll definitely be back in again.
