Rod's Steak House

Good atmosphere. Great service. Even better steak!! Must go if you're in Williams. Great history to the place.

Ordered medium well sirloin. So juicy. Green beans seasoned to perfection. Mushrooms- delicious and Rod's margaritas were the right blend of alcohol and sweet/tart. Worth the $$. My only small gripe is that the lady's room toilet was super tiny with frosted glass doors.

Service was good & friendly but a little slow. Steak was overcooked, asked for medium rare but it was on the medium well to well done side. On top of that was just a tough cut of meat, for the price you could get a better cut from a National chain like Texas Roadhouse or even Outback. To their credit, the server offered to remake the steak, but the food took long enough to come out that I did not want to wait. The soup, rolls and mashed potatoes that were included were all good though.

The meal was excellent. Only gave 4 stars for the fact they were obviously under staffed and we waited awhile not only for refills and desert...but to actually get the check and be able to leave the establishment.

However, i will absolutely go back. Great steaks and very nice staff.
