Mi Nietos Cocina

Originally drove to snack at Tortas Paquime and happened to see the signage/locale for Mis Nietos Cocina; after a few minutes of contemplation, I chose Mis Nietos. Best choice EVER. Authenticity from the minute you walk in to a lively, impeccably clean ambiance complete with some old Spanish music faves.

I order a pineapple Aqua Fresca and it satisfies my palate w it’s fresh and tart yet sweet taste quenching that AZ thirst. I’m loving the ideal portion of chips and mildly warm salsa (mildly spicy, packed w flavor).

Traditional Chilaquiles call for a red sauce, but I’ve always been partial to the green tomatillo sauce, I inquire if the switch up is possible and am pleased to hear it is. The chips are perfectly crunchy and sauced; the green salsa has an insanely tasty flavor w a bit of spice to follow. The chicken diced perfect for mixing into the chilaquiles and pork beans, (DO order these when here). The beans were a last minute sub for their traditional retried and may I say well worth it! Packed w flavor and the consistency is great, not too runny.

Overall a wonderful experience. The young lady at the desk was attentive, respectful, and polite. MOst def a new fave spot delicious of mine ???? and will be returning fairly soon.
