Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Nice location, it was busy when we went in, but the wait was nominal. Food tasted great, hot, fresh and large portions. Server was Justin W, great waiter was fast, friendly and just generally on the ball with refills of drinks and checking on us just enough through the meal to make sure we where good with everything even though it was busy. Will definitely be back.

I've actually opted to give this place a rating of four stars because of how juicy and tender my roast beef was. All of my colleagues and I stopped in here on our way back to southern Arizona, and I ordered the roast beef. I was expecting something that would be dry and rather tasteless, however what I actually received was a plate of tender, flavorful roast beef, some yummy green beans, some unexpectedly yummy macaroni and cheese, and to drink I had tea that I could tell had been fresh-brewed.

I love Cracker Barrel, it's good country style food and the service is always warm and efficient. The buttermilk pie was creamy and delicious. It's crust was too cold though. It could have used more time being thawed out. The onion jam and bacon burger was delicious, as well with all the fixings. However, I think the meat could have used more seasoning. The fried chicken is crispy, it is cooked perfectly, and the spices are just right. I think the macaroni and cheese and the hash brown casserole are my favorite sides. The mashed potatoes and brown gravy is very good. Lastly, the french toast latte was a sweet treat.

I love the store and shopping before or after. There always such a good mix of different things to shop for, and it's always seasonal.

Food was excellent! But our server was slow. He was super nice but the place was not packed! Maybe 5 small families? Anyway, you still deserve the 5 stars only because everyone else was super nice and the food was good. Don't think I would go back though.
