Simple place. Home cooking and cook to order diahes. We come here because we like the authentic food.
With that said, it is not for everyone. If you like drive through meals don't try this place; dishes are well spiced and some of them have small bones.

TIP 1: ask for extra jerk sauce on the side
TIP 2: avoid the lunch buffet (I heard several people complain about the food temp). And the buffet only has 4 items included (which changes daily Monday to Friday; not available on weekends)

Ordered 2 item plate (curry goat costs $1 extra, oxtail is $3 extra): jerk chicken, and curry goat; with rice and beans, and fried plantains. Curry goat had great taste, perfect temp, not too spicy, not too many large bones or small bones (which most goat curry has). Fried plantains were nice and tasty, not overly fried, perfect sweetness paired with the rest of spice in the meal. I had high expectations for the jerk chicken, but it wasn't too jerky or spicy (which I guess appeals to most westerners, but I prefer more spicy jerk chicken). I added extra jerk sauce on top to give it more flavour and heat. Rice and beans... Well are just rice and beans, but good for soaking up the curry from goat curry.

Staff was very friendly, place has a simple Jamaican vibe. It wasn't too busy at lunch (I ordered takeout). It's a nice small/comfortable place, seems to have some regulars which is nice.

Nice place to eat some Jamaican jerk chicken. The place is small and cozy with colorful decor. The sauces are tasty. Our service was kind of slow getting our food out because it seemed like there was only one person back at the kitchen. The guy serving the drinks and taking our orders was very personable. I would like to come back and try the lunch buffet for $7.99. All around a good experience. Come try it.

I had the two items combo—curry goat and ox tail. The food was awesome! Tender and flavorful. The curry goat was really special. The ox tail had a delicious unique flavor. Highly recommend this restaurant. Fun and welcoming atmosphere.

As others have noted the curry goat is very good. Spicy and flavorful, it pairs very well with fried ripe plantains. And the rum punch is great
