No one besides Pirate's in Chandler can do fish like Pete's. Sure places have all you can eat fish, and you pay an arm and a leg for it too. But as simple as it is and as long as they have been in business, Pete's fish n chips is the bomb. And the prices are even better

First time eating at a Pirate’s. We decided to give it a try and compare to Pete’s. Very very similar and I can almost say I like PIRATE’S better. First of all, not as far to drive. Also shrimp basket was better. We enjoyed the large crabettes. Prices, “cash only”, “Pirate sauce” all similar to Pete’s.
Can’t give it 5 stars for several reasons. It was fast food after all. Also trash cans overflowing. Napkins, straw papers, rubber gloves, all over patio dining area. Kind of takes your appetite away. They weren’t busy on Saturday about 4 pm. So there was no excuse for an employee to spend 5 min for quick clean up. I’m 67 and I could have done it in that amount of time. After we ate, I took a clean napkin and went around picking up some of the nastier trash. An elderly man and his wife had just ordered, (he said he’s a regular customer who defected from Pete’s a few years ago where he had been buying since 1952!!). This man saw me picking up trash so he started helping me.
We’ll return but certainly hoping the owner admonishes the employees that a clean eating area is important. Every hour, someone should be out there picking up trash dropped from rude customers, emptying trash cans, and wiping down tables. The black patio tables on the corner—are they Pirate’s? They’re scattered and one is next to a trash can on the corner. White bird droppings all over.
So great food—but area very dirty. Hopefully I’ll be pleasantly surprised next time we go.
Who is the owner, by the way? I tried to google the information without success.

Love the pirate burgers and onion rings here! The secret sauce is really delicious as well.. They only take cash so make sure you have some! No atm on site

I am always a fan of coming to Pirates. I get the Double Pirate Burger with cheese with a side of fries. The food is always great and fries are always hot. I love there sauce, but I forget to order more because the 1 cup that comes with the fries is not enough for me. Overall, I enjoy pirates. It may not be the most up to date building in downtown Chandler but that doesn't bother me. Thanks Pirates!

This place has been around for years. Close to downtown Chandler. The covered out eating area is great for people watching. They serve a variety of battered deep fried seafood. Even the unexpected deep fried oysters. You get a lot of flavorful sauce for dipping. The fries are thick and delicious. Bring cash. No plastic is accepted.
