The Hungry Monk

Dozens of Craft beers on top and some pretty rate bottled beer. Staff is friendly and quick. Food is preety good for a sports bar. I like the Fish and Chips but the burgers are great also. I eat their every couple of weeks

This is a nice local restaurant that has a full bar and full menu. There is an ample amount of seating. Great selection of food item and draft beers on tap. The food came out hot and flavorful. The wait staff were friendly and always able to find. There is a public restroom to uses. This is a good place to stop if you want a bite to eat.

It was crowded when we went but that's not a negative. Bar tender was fast and they had great beers. You know the food is good too if there was that many people there for lunch.

Enjoyed my meal at the Hungry Monk. Visited here on a business trip based on recommendations of locals. Locals also showed up. I was with a large party which they accommodated easily, despite the place being busy.

Meal was average. Fish and chips tasted fine.

Beer selection was great as a visitor. I could easily look at list beers and decide on local brews.

I was shocked that someone in my party had a large chunk of glass at the bottom of his glass of beer. We showed staff my glass which looked like it missing part of the bottom (as if the two were stacked). Staff were greatly concerned and took both glasses. I don't know how the other person was comped, but I was given another glass, but charged for the new glass and comped the cheaper happy hour price when my glass was returned half full. I was annoyed, but didn't make a deal of it. They did accommodate everyone with their own bill since we were all on business travel.

Overall, looks like a great place to hang out, enjoy some beer with a meal.

Good place! Ordered a beer, it was so cold there was small pieces of ice floating in it. The burger was very good, way over cooked asked for med rare and it came out well done and dry. Sweet potato frys were very good. Whole order seamed to take a very long time it the kitchen. Over all it was fair, I plan on giving them another go.
