Chon Thai Food

Nice little restaurant with a good ambience . Food is very tasty and the portion sizes are very good. Wasn't very busy when we visited but service was pretty quick. Definitely would visit again

Had lunch at Chon Thai Food restaurant at the above mentioned address today. The word "Chon" in Thai language means "spoon" thus the name of the restaurant can be interpreted as "a spoon of Thai food". The place was opened around 3 1/2 years ago, it is spacious and can hold 60 diners at a given time for lunch and dinner. They have an extensive menu and what I chose for lunch which was Green Curry was delicious. Looking at a beautiful work of art portraying the hands of Buddha I learned from one of the servers that the position of the hands on different days of the week mean different things. On each table there are a few pieces of wood and the diners can engage in a game called "Jenga" which is amusing. It was interesting to note that the bill provides the information in relation to the percentage and the amount of tip to be paid as well. Service was attentive and kind.

My absolute favorite Thai food restaurant. The portions are big and delicious. My favorite thing to order is the drunken noodles. I ask for no tomato’s and they always make it right!

The staff is always so nice too. I usually get take out, when I arrive it’s ready for me all wrapped up nice so no spilling. If you pay with cash there are no extra fees. I highly recommend this restaurant!

To have crispy fried battered chicken is nice twist on Panang Curry. However, not enough curry is given for the dish. They give you plenty of chicken which is good, but I was scrapping for more curry at the end because without it, the chicken is dry and tasteless— i have 4 large pieces left overs and I was being quite conservative on how much curry I’ve been using. You can get extra curry for $4 but i honestly would just trade in the last 4 pieces of chicken for another spoonful of curry so I can eat the dish without drying out my throat. Other than that, the food and services are lovey.
