I've had the BBQ here a while back and I remember it being good but I want to talk about the breakfast tacos.
An unexpected place to get a quick breakfast. There are grab and go breakfast tacos or you can do a custom order. I wish they had a steak and eggs taco but brisket taco is very good.
Great BBQ at this location. I was born and raised in Texas, so I know all about good BBQ. You can experience authentic Texas BBQ here. The brisket is outstanding as well as the smoked turkey, back ribs, and sausage. The corn on the cob is awesome, and the banana pudding sends memories of being back home in Texas flooding back every time. Thanks Rudy’s!!
All BBQ lovers MUST visit this place! We have it nice here in the valley by having many BBQ spots and while they are all unique this one is the king. I used to live near one in Austin and that very same quality is found at this location. Can I please suggest the moist brisket, jalapeno sausage, new potatoes and of course the banana pudding.
I am from Texas and a HUGE fan of Rudy's there, which is why when I moved here I was so excited. In Austin, they get 5 stars from me (the brisket in Austin is amazing at every location). But something about this location and franchise in Phoenix is just "off". The brisket is not as tender and flavorful, and something is amiss with the quality control. Even their beans dont taste the same, with far more liquid and a different, blander flavor. The Turkey, however is outstanding and definitely up to the same standards as the Texas franchises. But... I miss the brisket.
Used to visit Rudy's all the time when I lived in New Mexico and was thrilled to find one here! By far one of my most favorite BBQ joints around! Love their spicy chop and their smoked turkey. We always end up ordering way too much food and eating it for days, but no harm no foul because the leftovers are always killer! Lol. Don't forget to try the banana pudding!
