Pesto's Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar

This was our first visit..great ambiance. Great service. Exceptional food. Don't let the location or front fool you! When we try a new Italian spot we always get spaghetti and meatballs and an anti pasta salad. If a place can't get that right forget it! Pestos' delivered ! We will be back. PS...The Greek Pasta was light and yummy...

Been here four times. First two were good, the last two, not good. The food consistency varied so much. We ordered the same exact thing. 2 times it was great, the last two times, I'm not going back. The waiter was very nice

I attended a luncheon with 30+ members of the Tempe Diplomats on 3/6/19 and was very impressed with the buffet selection. Every item was well prepared and very tasty. The service was timely and attentive. I will definitely return with my wife and/or friends again in the near future.

The food is so good it’s mouth watering. The ambiance is very mellow, family friendly. Yet there is there is a bar for a more mature experience. The staff is very friendly. I enjoy it so much I almost I didn’t want to share, but a place this good shouldn’t be kept a secret.

December 2018: updated from three to four stars. Husband and I wanted a quiet dinner before the holiday madness so we stopped by, got a table inside. Server was a young man who was knowledgeable about the food and wine. Pace of service was AMAZING and so was the food. We got apps and wine at the end of happy hour. The pace of service was so good, we ended up staying for an entree which we wouldn't have done if we'd been pushed out the door like so many places do these days. Well done, Pesto's!

Early 2018: A little tight on the patio at a 2-topper. Heaters were on so it was comfortable. The drinks and food were delicious as always. Hostess seemed like she was overwhelmed which meant open tables with a line of people waiting to be seated. Too bad. It's a great restaurant!
