Great tacos! Nice, bright and clean inside. Great looking mango Chamoy beverage with tequila supposedly. However I’m 99% sure there was ZERO alcohol. So I paid $9.99 for a frozen mango drink. Definitely not worth the price. Thankfully the food was great.
Excited to have some tacos in the East valley I took the family to get some grub. Ordered, tacos: asada, al pastor, quesabirria with consume, quesadilla and a mangoniada.... tacos were too greasy, al pastor could get away with some but it was excesive.. Tacos de asada shouldn't be greasy at all. The taste, asada is definitely not recommended for authentic asada it's obvious it is done on a skillet. Al pastor was okay, wouldn't get again. The pineapple seemed like it was from a can not the "trompo". Now the good stuff. Quesabirria was really good, not the best but definitely up there. Consome was okay but a bit of onion, cilantro, lemon, salsas and it was awesome. Really enjoyed it, definitely recommend and will return for those. The mangoniada was delicious, could taste the liquor but not too much. Perfect spot for a drink and munchies. For me, I'll be sticking to the quesabiarria and bar drink which are incorporated with frutilandia products.
I tried their keto (cheese taco) carne asada taco and it was so amazing. I’ll be back for that. But i wouldn’t recommend the birria tacos. They weren’t that great and the consume tasted very cinnamon like. Wasn’t good. They were sloppy and soggy too. The guacamole was good but they didn’t offer chips so be aware it’s more of a topping if you purchase it. I wish I would have tried the waters they offered but I got a fountain drink. Next time for sure. This place is attached to a frutilandia and I highly suggest going next door afterwards for a dessert.
I ordered a chicken taco, carne taco, and a birria (beef) taco. The meat was very greasy and the flavor was just ok. The tortillas fall apart easily, making the tacos a big mess. The salsa is just okay. Customer service was decent. I probably won't come back as there are better taco places to choose from.
Just like everyone else, we were excited to try a new restaurant. Especially one that has tacos and micheladas. We arrived on Thursday and there was no air conditioning. If we were hot and miserable, I can only imagine the employee moral that day!
Prices are a bit higher considering there are no happy hours and the only "special" they do is Taco Thursday. We received the meal in parts, had to remind them of a few items - no big deal.
The food itself was okay, nothing spectacular. The tacos were good, but not amazing. I will add that the michelada was tastey.
After we ate we went next door to Fruitlanda.... they had ac. Ugh we would have eaten there if we had known!
