The Crowned Egg

I discovered the Crowned Egg last spring. What a great place for breakfast. We typically have one of their omelets. They really do a great job with the omelets no matter which one you order. Since my diet is limited that will substitute some of the items. They have great cooks and servers. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and neighbors for several reasons. The food is great, the service is great and the prices are GREAT. They do have a patio so you can bring your dog with you if you want. I recommend you go early or you may have to wait for a table. Bon Apatite!!!!!!

Very diner like experience. The waitresses were so sweet and very helpful. Eat outdoors because it has the greatest little area you can hear the birds and the breeze in the trees. Blueberry pancakes were out of sight and the chorizo omelette was just nice and spicy. They even brewed fresh decaf coffee just for me! Thank you.

Man, this place is so amazing. They blow Hash Kitchen OUT OF THE WATER. I live down the street and have gone to both of these restaurants, and every time I leave one of these places, I'm always thinking The Crowned Egg just takes the cake.Their food has 10 times more flavor, the Service is always amazing. I'm eating their hatch green chili burrito right now and on the first bite, my brain immediately filled up with happy cells lol. I have been to Hash Kitchen about 3 times because they have so much hype, gave them 3 chances, and the food was so bland every time. I've even been forgotten and left there with no service for like 20 minutes until I just walked out. I could go there and write them a bad review, but I usually try to avoid that and would rather say how much BETTER this place is! Quick, amazing service and my daughter loves their waffles!

Ambiance was quaint, staff was fast, friendly and efficient!! Upon entry, one would think that the food would be decent at best…BOY HOW LOOKS ARE VERY DECEIVING- to say it was DELICIOUS is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!! The pancakes, light and fluffy; but the crowned jewel was the “Hatch Green Chili Pork Skillet” (substituting the flour tortilla for “sourdough” lightly toasted with butter); this masterpiece was recommended by our bubbly waitress- Marina. THE BEST SKILLET I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!!!!!!! ♥️ I can not express how scrumptious our breakfast was!! The only thing that I wish they would add to the menu is alcohol; i.e. wine, mimosas… but even without the opportunity to sip on a drink or two this does not downplay the fact that the food was as The Gap Band would say… “OUTSTANDING”‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

This place is awesome! It's our new go to brunch place for Sundays. The California egg Benny is amazing and the hollandaise sauce is awesome. We didn't quite like the skillet, but that's okay. The coffee is great too, as are the crepes. The service is fine too.
