Well, I finally got around to checking this little place out. And, I'm glad I did.
Located in a very small (3 unit) strip mall, and even with the address, it is easy to miss. And, parking here may be a challenge during peak hours.
I got there just before 11:00. But, I had to wait about 7 minutes before they actually opened.
One thing I noticed is that they now accept credit cards. However, what the average customer doesn't know, are the merchant fees associated with them. There are per transaction fees, monthly fees and yearly compliance fees. So, if they pass that on to you, don't be surprised. But, I paid cash.
For today, I ordered 3 Taco Bambas (though, 2 would suffice since it was for lunch) and a Jarritos Lime Soda.
Everything was absolutely delicious! Though, a beer would have washed lunch down better ;-) . Hopefully, they will get their beer license eventually.
The owner is very nice, and takes time to talk to you some.
I'll be back.
The owner is so passionate about his food. The food is really good, the sauces round out the already tasty meat. The watermelon drink is great. The presentation of the food is beautiful. I will surely he back, especially since he promised ceviche coming soon!
First time in today, absolutely one of the best tacos I've ever had. Get the Bamba combination if you want to try a few varieties. Highly recommended!
Very fresh and delicious, and the people are wonderful. You will want to come back again. I particularly loved the avocado, small bits of fruit and sauce drizzled over the taco. Try the ice tea - unique and refreshing!
Great food. Anything you order is outta the park. Bamba torte is heavenly with a little bite..in my case. Spicy hot just ask..its authentic. All are Edison's recipes. He IS the man.
