The Taco Spot - El Mirage

I have passed by this place for a while and finally decided to stop in and see what it was about. I had the two taco lunch special that came with fries. One taco was carne asada and the other pastor. Both were very delicious and flavorful. The meat for both were very tender. The tortilla held up well and was tasty as well. The fries were perfect. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. I also ordered Agua Fresca which was refreshing cantaloupe. It was a bit pricy for lunch but delicious none the less

the food was so good, the horchata was delicious too . the two people up front were very nice and welcoming, the place was clean as well. will definitely recommend this spot to friends and family … coming back forsure . also thank you guys for the tasty churros 🩷🩷

The food was ok, not the best, but ok for the moment. The prices are way too high for nothing. I got a combo of birria roman and Tacos for like 22 bucks or so after tax. So the roman had almost nothing of birria, which that roman was like, what 2 bucks at the store was not worth it at all . The tacos had more meat than the roman, and the tacos was about 6 bucks as the roman itself was 12.99 or so. I also got a burrito with no flavor at all and a torta that my wife said it was ok. I will not be going back as they have their prices way too high for what they serve you. There are plenty of other spots that are worth more even if you have to drive and not settle for the place. The birria tacos were not bad on taste over it was just not worth the money or time. That's why they got 3 stars because it wasn't horrible, horrible, and just not worth the money. Even calizona on grand serve better food and prices. I'm not saying don't eat here, just stating my opinion on what I think about this place.

We stopped here after my doctors appointment on Saturday morning. I was hesitant and didnt want to go here but my husband told me to try it. The loaded fries, surf and turf tosada was to die for. Also their mango drink was amazing. We had low expectations and was hit with amazing food.

My sweet family member had been in the hospital recently and all they could talk about was how they couldn’t wait to get out and eat some Quesabirria tacos from The Taco Spot. I had heard some good things word of mouth, but I don’t get a chance to visit El Mirage often. It is slowly growing with more places so a few of my kids and I made our way over today. The location sits in a strip mall and is not very big, but they’ve made great use of space by the layout of their counter and seating. It was bright inside and very clean. The woman at the counter was very kind and though it was very busy we had our order taken very quickly. We settled on 15 Quesabirria tacos as well as loaded fries with asada, two horchatas and a fountain drink. Our order was ready pretty quick and last minute we decided to rode five more tacos. So glad we did because they were so dang tasty! Remember most were for my family member to help brighten their day a little. We added four containers of consommé as well. I loved that they put the cilantro and onions on the side for the larger portions of tacos because my son does not care for onions and such. The five extra tacos came with it inside the tacos already. The loaded fries portion was huge Mr enough to share with my daughter. The consommé had great flavor, but the tacos were the best out of all. Definitely will have to come back to try the birria ramen.
